About Earth Spirit Events

Gaia, the goddess of the earth and its personification. She is also the primal mother goddess. Earth Spirit Events

How were Earth Spirit Events born?..... Well for several years we had been on the Mind, Body, and Spirit circuit, racing around the country from one event to another. While we enjoyed the interaction with other exhibitors and customers, something was missing.

Back in August 2018, my girls and I were at the Chalice Well in Glastonbury on a much-needed holiday. It was a beautiful sunny day, we were walking around the gardens when a Rowan tree caught my attention, I wandered over, touched the warm bark of its slender trunk, and said hello. I had always had a connection with the Rowan born from the days we had all lived in Cornwall. Sitting on the grass leaning up against the tree, I heard a voice that said " You need to go back to your roots, be true to yourself and your path.

The time with The Rowan made me realise just how much things had changed from the days living in Cornwall, when I ran my witchy herb business Herbmoon Hollow, helping to organise Pagan Camp, and spending time with like-minded folk. Gradually I was losing the connection to who I really was and I was missing being part of a tribe, and after a bit of work Earth Spirit Events was birthed in 2019 holding its first event at the Charles Burrell Centre Thetford..

Rhiannon, in Celtic religion, the Welsh manifestation of the Gaulish horse goddess Epona and the Irish goddess Macha. She is best-known from The Mabinogion, a collection of medieval Welsh tales, in which she makes her first appearance on a pale, mysterious steed and meets King Pwyll, whom she marries.

Our aim is to give the pagan community in Essex, Norfolk, and Suffolk that cannot always attend the larger festivals for different reasons or who prefer to attend an indoor fayre the opportunity to celebrate the turning wheel of the year, meet up with and talk to others that understand the traditional old ways of a nature-based path, whilst joining in with ceremonies, drum circles, workshops and enjoying some beautiful handcrafted wares within the pagan market, items crafted for pagans by pagans. The items crafted are inspired by nature, the woodland fae, and spirits with an added touch of pagan symbolism and magic.
